Lambus simplifies your travel planning. Its key features, 'stops' and 'nearby places', are designed to enhance your travel experience.

Since you can use the Lambus app to plan not only city trips but also road trips and world travel we differentiate between 'stops', e.g. a city, say Paris, and 'nearby places', e.g. a museum, restaurant, or an attraction, say Sacré-Cœur.

Creating a Stop

  1. Open Lambus App: Ensure you have an active trip.

  2. Add a Stop: In the trip overview, tap the plus button next to 'Itinerary', and select 'Add stop'.

  3. Search and Select: Type the name of the place (e.g., Paris) and choose it from the search results.

  4. Add in Itinerary: Alternatively, add stops directly in the itinerary section.

  5. Customize Stop Names: Tap on a stop to rename it as you like.

Assigning Information to Stops

Enhance your travel planning in Lambus by adding detailed information to each of your stops. This feature allows you to store and organize all essential details for your destinations in one place.

  1. Select Your Stop: Begin by opening your trip and navigating to the stop you want to update. Each stop acts as a mini-dashboard for that location.

  2. Add Dates: Specify the dates you plan to be at the stop. This helps in creating a chronological itinerary and managing your time effectively.

  3. Enter Notes: Add notes to each stop. This could include reminders, travel tips, reservation details, or anything else you need to remember about the location.

  4. Upload Photos: Enhance your stop with photos. You can upload pictures of the place, screenshots of booking confirmations, or any visual references that might be helpful during your trip.

  5. Link Documents: If you have relevant documents like PDFs of hotel bookings, e-tickets, or travel guides, you can attach these directly to the stop for easy access.

Exploring and Creating Nearby Places

In the Lambus app, the 'Nearby Places' feature offers a dynamic and personalized way to enhance your travel experience. This feature is twofold, providing both inspiration and customization for your trip.

  1. Open Lambus App: Make sure you have an ongoing trip set up.

  2. Explore Recommended Places: Within a stop, browse through 'Recommended Places' for inspiration. These are tailored suggestions of points of interest near your current stop.

For example, if your stop is in Paris, the app might recommend landmarks, restaurants, or cultural sites nearby, like museums or gardens. These recommendations are curated to enrich your travel experience, offering you a chance to discover hidden gems or popular attractions that you might not have considered.

  3. Add Own Nearby Places: To personalize further, you can add your own Nearby Places. This could be a particular café you've heard about, a small gallery, or a park that's caught your interest.

    1. From a Stop: Inside a stop, tap the plus button and select 'Add Nearby Place'. Search and select a specific location you want to visit near your stop.

    2. From Trip Overview: Alternatively, add Nearby Places directly from the trip overview. Tap the plus button next to 'Itinerary', choose 'Add Nearby Place', follow the same search, and select process.

  4. Customize Nearby Places: Like stops, you can also rename any Nearby Place to better fit your itinerary or preferences. Simply tap on the Nearby Place and edit its name.

By combining the ease of recommended places with the flexibility to add your own, the Nearby Places feature in Lambus becomes a powerful tool for crafting a travel itinerary that's both exciting and uniquely yours.

Assign Information to Nearby Places

Personalizing your travel itinerary in Lambus includes adding specific details to the Nearby Places you've selected or added. This feature enhances your experience by keeping all the essential information about these locations easily accessible.

  1. Select a Nearby Place: Begin by navigating to the stop in your itinerary that the Nearby Place is associated with. Then, select the Nearby Place you want to update.

  2. Add Notes: For each Nearby Place, you can add notes. This might include why you chose this place, what you plan to do there, or any special recommendations or contact information you’ve received about it.

  3. Input Visit Dates/Times: If you have a specific date or time planned for visiting this place, add that information. This helps in scheduling your day-to-day itinerary more effectively.

By assigning detailed information to Nearby Places in your Lambus itinerary, you turn your travel plan into an organized, informative, and personalized guide, making your travel experience smoother and more enjoyable.
